Youth dies of suspected cardiac arrest, school boy found dead

JAMMU, Feb 3: A 32-year-old youth today died of suspected cardiac arrest in Narwal area of city outskirts while an unknown young boy of age about 16 years was found dead outside Railway Station Jammu.
Quoting eye witnesses, a police official said that a young man while walking along the road suddenly collapsed this morning at Malik Market. He said the shopkeepers of the market informed the police, which shifted the youth in unconscious condition at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“After postmortem, the body of the deceased, who was identified as Sajjad son of Maqbool Hussain, resident of Mendhar (at present living in Malik Market), was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
Meanwhile, an unknown school going boy of age about 16 years was found dead outside Railway Station, Jammu. On getting information from passersby, the police reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of GMCH Jammu for identification/postmortem.
“In both cases, Trikuta Nagar police had initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC”, the official added.
