Youth Cong organizes convention at Suchetgarh

JAMMU, Feb 15:  Pradesh Youth Congress has criticized the Modi- led BJP Govt for its failure to fulfill the poll promises with the border residents, who suffered the most during the present regime at the Centre.
Addressing border people and party workers at border town of Suchetgarh today Dr Umashankar Pandey, secretary IYC incharge  J&K and Pranav Shagotra, PYC president alleged that Modi Government has failed on all the fronts. They said the tall promises made with the people have not been fulfilled and the people in this part of the State are feeling duped.
Pranav Shagotra made the people aware of the present political scenario in which the Govt formation is being delayed by BJP-PDP, which have got massive public mandate after making false promises. Even the youth and famers are feeling deceived.
While speaking on the occasion  Dr Pandey  said that residents of  border areas of the State are worst sufferers during the Modi regime because of  the record number of  incidents of firing and infiltrations  of militants. The BJP Govt has failed to fulfill the promises made to the border resident with regard to providing of alternate accommodation/  5 marla plots to each family.
Rich tributes  were also paid to Lance Naik Hanumantha and other nine armymen who laid down their lives at Siachen Glacier while guarding the country. Tributes were also paid to  Tarsem Singh  who was killed while fighting militants.
Prominent among them  included Paramjeet Singh PYC  general secretary, Sandeep Singh Rissam-spokesperson PYC, Charanjeet Singh, Amir Rasool (LYC presidents), Ricky Dalotra, Rocky Choudhary, Dheeraj Sharma, Sachin Gupta and  Khushwant Singh. The program was organized by AYC Such-etgarh President  Nimrandeep Singh.  Congress leaders Bhupinder Singh (Retd SSP), Sarpanch Rashpal Singh, Lambardar Sarwan Shoudhary, Capt Dilbagh Singh and Capt Gurdeep Singh were also present.
