UDHAMPUR, July 3: A youth committed suicide by hanging himself at his house at village Mansar in Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as 20-year old Shabish Shashbat, son of Sanjay Kumar of Mansar (Krimchi Mansar). He was found hanging in his house. Family members immediately rushed him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Cause behind the provocation for extreme step could not be ascertained while Udhampur Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 32-year old youth was found dead in Nallah Sulan, near Ghordi. The deceased was identified as Davinder Kumar, son of Suram Chand of Ghordi Jagir. He had apparently drowned in flash flood in the Nallah.
