JAMMU, Feb 6: A youth allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his temporary residence in Nowshera of Rajouri district.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth identified as Ash Bahadur (20), a resident of Nepal, at present living in Rajal area of Nowshera was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu on February 2 after he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance.
However, the youth expired today at about 6 pm. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting post mortem.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
