UDHAMPUR, Aug 19: A youth committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances, here last night.
The deceased was identified as Bittu Singh (36) son of Dawarka Nath of village Pathi in district Udhampur.
He was brought to the District Hospital Udhampur in unconscious condition. Despite hectic efforts by the doctors, he died after some time.
The dead body was handed over to the family members after postmortem while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
