MENDHAR, Oct 8: The police has registered an FIR against 19-year-old youth for committing rape on a young girl from Kas Baladi area of Mendhar.
A police officer said that on the complaint of girl, the police registered a case FIR No. 150/2014 against the accused Mohd Raqib, son of Abdul Latief (JE), resident of village Salwah. His father has already been booked by police for allegedly kidnapping the girl. The victim alleged that she was kept in illegal confinement where she was repeatedly raped. Further investigation was in progress.
