JAMMU, Feb 17: A youth was today attacked with cricket bat by other two youth at Badayale Chak area of Akhnoor, over some issue.
According to a police spokesperson, a youth identified as Rajinder Kumar son of Chaman Lal Verma, a resident of Badayale Chak, received serious injuries this evening when over some issue two youth identified as Sohan Singh son of Jagat Singh and Ankush Rajput son of Swarn Singh, both residents of Badayale Chak, attacked him with cricket bat.
The injured youth was taken to Sub-District Hospital, Akhnoor for treatment, from where later he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
A case in this connection was registered at concerned police station and efforts were on to nab the accused youth.
