JAMMU, Feb 17: A prominent Urdu writer and senior advocate SS Anand Lehar has got the Best Book Award for the Urdu Novel ‘Namdev’.
Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) has given the Best Book Award to SS Anand Lehar for the Urdu Novel ‘Namdev’. The award carries Rs 51,000 cash and a citation.
Lehar had also translated and compiled the Constitution of J&K in Urdu which is the real official language of the State.
He has written 13 books in Urdu and has been awarded by different Music and Literary Organisations and Academies of Country.
