JAMMU, Oct 26: Pacca Danga police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a youth along with 25 grams charas.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Pacca Danga Police Station laid a naka near Mubarak Mandi and intercepted a youth.
During checking, police recovered 25 grams of charas from the possession of the youth and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Wasim, a resident of Shaheedi Chowk.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Pacca Danga Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
Police team led by SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Dheeraj Nagpal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Varun Jandial and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
