UDHAMPUR, Jan 14: A young man was stabbed by some unidentified miscreants at Laddan Power House area near the Udhampur town.
The victim, identified as Ganesh Dutt (40), son of Shiv Ram of Balli Nallah, was intercepted by the assailants and attacked by some sharp edged weapon, this evening. The assailants fled the scene after leaving their victim in a pool of blood.
Police has registered a case in this connection while the injured has been admitted in the District Hospital Udhampur.
As Police had not yet recorded statement of the victim in view of serious stab injuries, cause behind the incident could not be ascertained.
