JAMMU, Jan 14: Taking a step forward towards the improvements in co-curricular and extra-curricular infrastructure for the benefit of students, the IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, Domana has established an indoor sports complex within the institution premises.
The complex was inaugurated by Er Mohammad Shaffi Bhat, Joint Director, Technical Education, in presence of Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman JGEI, Arun Bangotra, Principal Government Polytechnic, Er Neetu Maini, Principal Government Polytechnic for Women, Jammu and Er KR Sharma, Principal North Polytechnic.
The complex provides facilities for Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom and other indoor games. This facility is in addition to outdoor games for which the institution has well maintained play grounds.
Earlier, Er Ajay Jamwal, Dean Administration presented the welcome address, whereas in the end Er KG Gupta, Principal IECS Polytechnic delivered vote of thanks.
