JAMMU, Jan 14: Wrestler Kaka of RS Pura outclassed Amritpal of Amritsar and lifted the title trophy of “115th Panthal Kesari Vishal Dangal”, being organized by Shri Swami Nitya Nand Wrestling Association, Panthal under the aegis of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Panthal at Panthal in district Reasi today.
Gurmail of Chandigarh defeated Kulbeer of Jammu and secured runner-up position, while as the match between Roshan of JKP and Basant of Amritsar ended in draw.
On the occasion, Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra Prof Sudhir Kumar Jain was the chief guest, who presented ‘Silver Gurj’ and Panthal Kesari title award to Wrestler Kaka of RS Pura. The runner-up was awarded with cash prize of Rs 9,000.
President of Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma, SDPO Ravel Choudhary, Vinod Kumar, Kushal Sanmotra, Pritam Magotra and large number of sports lovers were also present.
