REASI, Oct 15: A young housewife died under mysterious circumstances after she allegedly consumed some poisonous substances at the house of her in-laws in Thanool, Thakrakote, here yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Saria Bano, age around 24 years, wife of Shah Wali and daughter of Mir Hussain, resident of Thanool, tehsil Thakrakote district Reasi.
According to Police, she was brought dead at District Hospital Reasi. It was an apparent case of suicide even as cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be immediately ascertained.
Arnas Police has initiated inquest proceedings under CrPC 174 and started investigation while the dead body was handed over to her legal heirs after post mortem.
