UDHAMPUR, May 27: A 15-year old girl was found dead in a Nallah at village Khabal, under the jurisdiction of Majalta Police Station.
The deceased was identified as Debo (15), daughter of Shaloo of village Khabal. She was found dead in the Nallah, around a kilometer away from her house. The body was spotted by some locals who immediately called the police, which rushed to the spot. After the legal formalities, Police shifted the body to PHC Majalta for postmortem.
According to SHO Majalta, Urfan Parvez, the girl appears to have fallen from about 250 feet height but under mysterious circumstances. Police has registered the case under section 174 RPC for further investigation, he added.
