JAMMU, Apr 13: A young girl was among two tried to end their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences.
As per reports, 22-year-old Pooja, a resident of Chinore allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
Finding her unconscious, family members rushed her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where her condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
Meanwhile, 30-year-old Sheetal Singh, a resident of Ratian, RS Pura tried to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence.
Noticing him unconscious, family members rushed him to nearby hospital and was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he was responding to the treatment, when last reports poured in.
Cases have been registered at concerned police stations and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
