JAMMU, Sept 13: Department of Electrical Engineering, Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized an interactive talk session on “Non Conventional Energy Resources” for electrical engineering students of all the semesters, here today.
The lecture was delivered by Dr Sanjeev Anand, HoD Energy Management Deptt, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, SMVDU Katra.
Dr Arvind Devagan (Director YCET), Dr Sandeep Malik (Dean) and Er B R Verma (Chief Co-ordinator) were also present there to motivate the students.
Dr Sanjeev Anand, expert in the field of non conventional energy resources briefed the students about various renewable energy forms that can be used to fulfill the load demand. His main perspective was to make the students to understand the present energy scenario and its management.
The session ended with the vote of thanks by Er Sakshi Sharma, COD, Electrical Engg. Department.
Earlier, the welcome address was presented by Er Loveneesh Talwar, HoD, Electrical Engineering Department.
