JAMMU, Aug 22: Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) Jammu celebrated ‘World Entrepreneurship Day’ by honouring four alumni-Student Entrepreneurs of Jammu city, here today.
This event was part of a series of activities undertaken by Institution Innovation Cell of IMS Jammu to increase entrepreneurial activity amongst students of MBA, BBA and BCA.
The session started with a warm welcome to the entrepreneurs by the students and faculty members of the Institute, followed by the entrepreneurs including Aryamann Singh, owner at Shiv Shakti Bricks Kiln and Pace Hyundai Jammu; Varun Saraf, Founder and CEO at PITSPOT-87; Nipun Saraf, owner at Nipun Trading Co. & Neel Kanth Healthcare; and Amritansh Magotra, owner at A.M. Creations were felicitated with Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards.
Thereafter, an interactive session was also held wherein they (Entrepreneurs) shared their journey of self- reliability, struggle, confidence, and eventual success with the current students and thereby inspiring and motivating the next generation.
The session was concluded by Dr Meenakshi Sharma who applauded their achievements and thanked the entrepreneurs for their invaluable insights. The session concluded with the formal vote of thanks.
