JAMMU, Dec 6: A week long workshop on “Research Methodology” was today inaugurated by Prof Naresh Padha, Dean Academic Affairs, University of Jammu.
The workshop is being organized by Human Resource Development Center (HRDC) in collaboration with PG Department of Urdu, JU. Near about 50 Ph D scholars from different department of the university, Assistant Professors of University and College teachers are participating in the workshop.
In his inaugural address, Prof Naresh Padha said that Research is a very important component of Academics and university has setup a Research cluster where funds have been made available for doing research in different fields.
Prof S K Pandita, Director, HRDC, informed that this is the 1st workshop by the centre in offline mode since Covid pandemic. He discussed the aims and objectives of organizing such workshops.
The coordinator of the workshop, Prof Shohab Inayat Malik discussed the meaning, types and need for doing Research. Prof Mohd Reyaz Ahmad, Head Department of Urdu also spoke on the occasion.
Vote of thanks was presented by Dr Ranjeet Kalra, Deputy Director, HRDC.
