KATRA, Sept 28: A 3- day workshop organized by Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) of SMVDU, on “Research Methodologies and Data Analysis”, concluded in the university, here today.
Nine Resource Persons delivered the technical sessions in this workshop. Topics covered, included; Overview of Research Process, Review of Literature & Case Based Research, Sampling Techniques and Questionnaire Designing, Data Collection and Analysis Techniques, Multiple Linear Regression and Discriminant Analysis, Factor Analysis, Cluster Analysis, Time Series Analysis and Technical Writing etc.
The closing ceremony of the workshop began with welcome note followed by rapporteur report on technical sessions taken by resource persons that took place in three days. Resource Persons were felicitated with certificates and token of appreciation by Prof D Mukhopadhyay, I/c Director, HRDC.- SMVDU and participants are awarded certificates of course completion.
The workshop proved to be a great success for research students who have registered themselves in Ph.D Programs of different Departments of SMVDU.
The conference ended with a vote of thanks to Prof D Mukhopadhyay, Course Director; Dr Deepak Jain, Workshop Coordinator; Dr Meenakshi Gupta, Organizing Secretary; Ruchika, Kanchan Gupta, members of the Executive Committee and the Resource Persons and participants.
