KATHUA, July 25: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Govt. Degree College for Women here today organized a one-day online workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)-patents, designs, process etc under National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission.
Pooja Vishal Maulikar, Examiner of Patents and Designs from Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Intellectual Property Management, Nagpur was resource person.
The workshop started with a welcome address by Dr. Sangita Nagari, College Principal, who emphasized on the need to organise such workshops for boosting the knowledge of faculty.
Pooja Vishal Maulikar, the resource person delivered a detailed lecture about IPR, its basic concepts and patents.
She motivated the faculty to file patents for the research and innovation conducted by them.
Faculty members from different colleges of J&K attended the workshop.
Ravinder Kour, IQAC Coordinator presented vote of thanks while proceedings of the programme were conducted by Pallavi, Assistant Prof. in Political Science.
