POONCH, July 25: A minor handicapped boy was drowned in river in Mandi area here, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Mohd Asif (10), son of Mohd Azam, a resident of Panchayat Arai in Block Mandi.
A hunt was launched to fish out the body of the boy from river. However, the body was not retrieved when last reports were compiled.
Mandi Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
