Refers news item on 14th March- “17 social sector welfare projects yet to be completed”.
It has listed 17 social sector projects sanctioned during past decade and are yet to be completed. These projects are being handled by PWD and JKPCC departments. Earlier also there have been news about abnormal delays in completion of the projects in other fields, be it roads, power or other sector handled by State PWD, JKPCC, PDD and R&B departments. Mostly these Government departments fail to complete the works even after getting number of extensions. Still State Govt vouches for that all centre supported projects should be handled by State Govt departments Bunkers at border which are a priority item, should be completed on time either by the State or Centre Government. These should not become a casualty between the two power centres.
