JAMMU, Dec 2: The dead body of a woman was found hanging today at her home in Company Bagh area of Canal Road, Jammu.
“The deceased was identified as Sheetal Rani (36) wife of Raj Kumar, resident of Company Bagh (Canal Road, Jammu),” Police sources said, adding, her body was found hanging from ceiling fan in her room, late this morning.
Quoting family members of the deceased, sources said that the woman was under treatment for depression and for last few months, she was taking anti-depression medicines.
“After conducting postmortem in GMC Jammu, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites while inquest proceeding in this connection was initiated by concerned police,” sources added.
