RAJOURI, Nov 1: The dead body of a young woman was found hanging from celing hook of her room at village Gurdan Pain while another house wife died under msysterious circumstances at village Kote in Rajouri district today.
Police sources said that dead body of 27-year-old, Rubina Kouser, wife of Mohd Alfaz, was found hanging at her inlaws’ house at Gurdan Pain at around 3 pm today. The locals informed police which reached the spot and shifted it to DH Rajouri for postmortem. The parents of the victims alleged that it was murder as their daughter was being harassed by husband and inlaws for the past several months. The police was investigating into the matter.
Meanwhile, one Nessar Begum (52), wife of Mohd Ashraf, resident of Kote village in Thanna died under mysterious circumstances at her residence today. The police registered a case and started inquest proceedings under Section 174 IPC at Thannamandi Police Station.
