JAMMU, Jan 22: A woman succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Shallu Devi (21) wife of Kuldeep Kumar, a resident of Rajbagh, was shifted here at GMCH on January 20 after she suffered burn injuries at her residence due to unknown reasons.
However, the woman succumbed to her injuries late last night. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
