JAMMU, Mar 19: A woman today succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police official, the woman identified as Neelam (23) wife of Ishar Singh, a resident of Katra, was shifted here at GMCH on March 9 after she suffered about 50% burn injuries in a fire incident.
However, the woman succumbed to her injuries today at about 9 AM. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
