RAMBAN, Feb 22: A woman slipped to death from mountain near Ukhral area, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramsoo police station.
As per police sources, a woman identified as Zameela Begum (22), wife of Mohammad Rafiq, a resident of Heewagan, was on her way to market to purchase some household items, when her foot slipped and she fell into a deep gorge near Ukhral.
On getting information, police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the woman to Public Health Centre (PHC) Ukhral, where doctors pronounced her as brought dead.
The body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
Ramsoo police has taken cognizance in this regard.
