JAMMU, June 2: A woman set herself on fire in Miran Sahib area today following a fight with her husband.
“Anju Devi (21) wife of Manohar Mandal, resident of Bihar, had a quarrel with her husband this morning at a rented accommodation in Miran Sahib area,” a police official said, adding in the fit of rage, the woman poured Kerosene oil on her body and set self on fire.
The official said that in the fire, women received about 50% injuries and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where her condition was stated to be critical till the last reports poured in. Miran Sahib police had taken cognizance of the matter, he added.
