DODA, May 26: A woman labourer was killed and 12 other labourers got injured when an under-construction culvert collapsed here today in Ghill Nala area of Bhalessa in Gandoh Tehsil.
The incident took place when the labourers were pouring slab on the culvert and it suddenly collapsed leaving a lady labourer dead and 12 others injured.
Immediately after the incident the injured were rescued by the cops and the locals and were shifted to Government Medical College Hospital Doda for treatment.
The deceased lady was identified as Devi Kumari, wife of Naresh Kumar, resident of Chattisgarh.

The injured were Naresh Kumar, 42, son of Daddu Lal, resident of Chattisgarh; Ravi Patel, 25, son of Pardeep, resident of Chattisgarh; Safder Ali, 21, son of Jamat Ali, resident of Trithlu, Gandoh; Jamat Ali, 32, son of Hasham Din, resident of Trithlu, Gandoh; Koshalya Yadav, 32, wife of Dolat Yadav, resident of Chattisgarh; Manu, son of Brij Lal, resident of Chattisgarh; Tariq Hussain, son of Fazal Din, resident of Gandoh; Meena Sahu, wife of Dinesh Sahu, resident of Chattisgarh; Masoom Ali, son of Jamat Ali, resident of Trithlu, Gandoh; Mohan Yadav, son of Sahu Yadav, resident of Chattisgarh; Dolat Yadav, son of Sahu Yadav, resident of Chattisgarh and Koshalya Devi, wife of Chet Ram, resident of Chattisgarh.
A case in this regard has been registered at the concerned Police Station and investigation was started to ascertain the exact reasons for the collapse of the culvert.
