Woman falls from bus, youth sustains burns

UDHAMPUR, Mar 10:In separate incidents, a middle aged woman sustained injuries when she fell from a moving bus while  a youth sustained  burn injuries under mysterious circumstances and a boy consumed some poisonous substance, here since the last evening.
Reports said that a woman, identified as Jalila Bi, wife of Farid of Dudder Nullah, fell from a moving bus while on way from Manwal to Dudder. She was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur and her condition was stated to be out of danger.
A youth, identified as Pawan Kumar son of Shanker Dass of Krimchi Mansar and presently putting up at Jail Road Udhampur, was brought to the District Hospital with serious burn injuries, last night. According to the family members, the burn injuries were caused due to bursting of a kerosene oil stove. However, police have registered a case in this connection for further investigations.
A boy, namely Ajay Kumar, son of Girdhari Lal of Housing Colony Udhampur, consumed some poisonous substance and was brought to hospital by the family members. His condition was stated to be out of danger.
Meanwhile, several sheep died  when a truck carrying them rolled down into a gorge after being hit by an unidentified Tipper near Kaller. The truck, bearing registration number  JK02AL-4306, was on way from Srinagar to Rajasthan. It was carrying 144 sheep out of which 15 died on the spot.
