JAMMU, Sept 15: Channi Himmat Police arrested a woman drug peddler along with cannabis and illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Channi Himmat led by SHO Inspector Karan Chalotra under the supervision of SDPO East Bikram Kumar laid a naka and apprehended a lady along with 994 grams cannabis, 14 quarters of illicit liquor, 250 pieces of cannabis rolls and 20 packets of rolling papers.
The arrested lady was identified as Samita Ragini, wife of Sapan Singh of Azad Ghar, Kolkata, at present Channi Himmat, District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 149/2021 under Sections 8/20 NDPS Act and 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and investigation started.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
