JAMMU/SRINAGAR/LEH, Jan 3: A woman died of COVID-19 and 103 persons tested positive for the virus while 95 others recovered in the Jammu region.
A 77-year-old woman hailing from Rangoor Camp in Ramgarh area of Samba district died of COVID today.
Among 103 persons, who tested positive for pathogen in Jammu region, 75 hailed from Jammu district while out of 95, who recovered, 45 were from Jammu district.
Jammu region’s Corona toll now stood at 699.
The region has 50254 Corona cases including 1456 active and 48099 recoveries.
Seven Corona positive cases were today reported in Ladakh, all in Leh district.
Meanwhile, Kashmir valley today recorded 79 fresh cases of COVID.
Srinagar reported 31 cases, Baramulla 5, Budgam 14, Kupwara 4, Pulwama 7, Anantnag 6, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 7 and Shopian 3.
Moreover, 205 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals including 110 from Kashmir valley.
