RAJOURI, June 25: A woman was killed while six other persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Rajouri district today.
Reports said a Maruti WagonR bearing registration No. JK-11/ 7489 skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Manjakote today. One Kamlesh Devi, wife of Ex-Capt Rattan Lal, resident of Dassal in Rajouri was killed on the spot while three others including her husband were injured in the mishap. All the three included Rashmi Sharma, daughter of Vijay Amritlal of Tandwal and Vasudev Sharma, son of Ram Lal of Sewa Jagir village were admitted in the Rajouri hospital.
The mishap took place when they were returning from Mendhar after attending a marriage function this morning.
Meanwhile, three persons were injured after a Tata Magic vehicle overturned on the road near Dhandri in Kalakote area today. The injured namely Gopal Dass, Kiran Bala and Rita Devi from Dhandri village have been admitted to local hospital. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
