SRINAGAR, Apr 12: One person died while two others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a woman, Raja Begum wife of Gull Mohammad Bhat of Badrem Pahalgam, succumbed in a hospital after she was critically injured when a vehicle, JK01S/4007, driven by Sheikh Ubaid son of Sheikh Ghulam Nabi of Gulshan Nagar, Srinagar, near Jamkash Vehicleades in Hyderpora.
A motorcycle, JK04B/6815, driven by Lateef Ahmed Dar son of Abdul Gani of Rathsuna hit and injured.
A girl, Sadiya Akbar daughter of Mohammad Akbar Mir of Rathsuna was injured after a Sumo, JK03C/ 8768, driven by Mohammad Yaseen Gendad son of Bashir Ahmed of Rakhi Brah Mattan in Anantnag, hit her Rathsuna in Budgam.
A pedestrian, Rabi Jan daughter of Mohammad Maqbool of Bindoo was injured after a vehicle hit her at Bindoo in Kokernag.
The spokesman said the injured have been shifted to hospitals for treatment and police has registered cases.
