Srinagar, May 31: A twenty year old woman committed suicide in Nowpora in district Bandipora by consuming poison at her home on Thursday evening, a police spokesperson said.
She was shifted to sub-district hospital, Bandipora, for treatment, where doctors referred her to SMHS, Srinagar. However, the woman died on Srinagar.
Police said they have initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 Cr PC in this regard.
