RAMBAN, Apr 21: A woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in village Ping Loga, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramsu police station.
As per police sources, a lady identified as Anita Devi (40), wife of Kewal Singh, a resident of village Ping Loga allegedly ended her life by consuming some poisonous substance.
The body of the deceased was handed over to family members after conducting autopsy at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Ukhral.
Ramsu police has started investigation to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
