JAMMU, July 21: Bishnah police arrested a woman bootlegger along with 40 pouches of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah police station conducted raid in village Keral Manhasa and apprehended a lady namely Veena Devi, wife of Bachan Lal of Keral Manhasa along with 3 litres and 40 pouches of illicit liquor.
A case under FIR Number 152/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Bishnah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector PP Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
