SAMBA, Apr 22: A woman allegedly tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Ramgarh, near here today.
As per reports, Palvi Devi, wife of Pawan Kumar, resident of village Dug Channi (Ramgarh) tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence.
Finding her unconscious, family members rushed her to Ramgarh hospital where from she was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
According to reports her condition is critical but she was responding to the treatment.
A case under relevant Section has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started to ascertain the reasons behind such extreme step.
