JAMMU, Nov 21: Bishnah police arrested a woman along with large quantity of illicit liquor and lahan.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah Police Station led by SHO Inspector Deepak Pathania conducted raid in Joyian area and arrested a lady along with 10 litres of illicit liquor and 200 litres of lahan. Illicit liquor manufacturing items were also destroyed on the spot.
The arrested lady has been identified as Ayoudhya Devi, wife of Bachan, a resident of Joyian, Tehsil Arnia, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 207/19 under relevant sections has been registered at Bishnah Police Station and investigation started.
