DODA, Mar 17: Bhaderwah Police arrested three persons including a woman along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Bhaderwah arrested a lady identified as Sumna Devi, wife of Walayat Chand, a resident of Jananah along with four litres of illicit liquor. The team also recovered and destroyed 40 litres of lahan.
Meanwhile, the similar team also arrested a man along with 4 litres of illicit liquor and 100 litres of lahan. The arrested person was identified as Shadi Lal, son of Amar Chand, a resident of Kodsu Bhaderwah.
In one more similar case, a team from Police Station Bhaderwah arrested a man identified as Pardeep Singh, son of Bheli Ram of Chilli Tehsil Bhalla.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered against the arrested persons and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Inspector Jatinder Singh Rakwal made the arrests under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Abdul Ghafoor and Additional SP Bhaderwah Aftab Ahmed.
