JAMMU, Sept 30: Two persons including a woman received burning injuries in separate fire incidents at their respective residences in different parts of the State.
A police spokesperson said that a woman identified as Parmina Devi (37), wife of Sham Lal and resident of Rattanpur received 30% burning injuries, when a fire broke out in the kitchen of her house while cooking.
He said the woman was immediately shifted by the family members to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where her condition was stated to be stable.
In another incident, Bhagwan Das (30), son of Munshi Ram and resident of Kishtwar received 50% injuries due to bursting of stove at his residence. He was also shifted to GMCH, Jammu, where he is undergoing treatment.
In both the cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
