JAMMU, Apr 20: A woman from Channi Himmat was allegedly abducted by three persons including a couple and then raped by one of the accused.
“A complaint was filed today in police station Channi Himmat by a man, a resident of Chowadi, who alleged that his sister was kidnapped five days back by three persons including Ishfaq Ahmed, his wife Shabnam Akhter and Tusef Ahmed son of Mohd Sagar, all residents of Reasi, who took her to a secluded place in Himachal Pradesh, where Tusef Ahmed raped her,” a police official said.
He said acting on the complaint a case FIR No 48/2019 under Sections 376, 366/34 RPC has been registered at police station Channi Himmat and all the accused were arrested. Further investigation into the case is underway, the official added.
