Withdraw domicile certificate, make PRC mandatory for recruitments: JWAM

JAMMU, June 4: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists here today staged a protest demonstration demanding withdrawal of domicile certificate and making PRC mandatory for recruitment to Government jobs.
Addressing protesters JWAM leader, Sunil Dimple asked the youth of Jammu region to be united for the withdrawal of domicile certificate.
He also opposed of privatization of PDD and demanded return of Salal and Uri hydel projects to J&K.
Dimple also expressed resentment against installation of two lakh smart electric meters in J&K from July 1 and said that proposed hike of power tariff in J&K is not in public interest.
He alleged that domicile certificate will make outsiders eligible for the Government jobs in J&K.
Dimple further said if outsiders are recruited in J&K Bank then “we will close all our accounts in J&K Bank and will also appeal others to do the same.”
Chaman Pawar, Sita Ram Rakwal, Narinder Sharma, Anmol Anand, Kulwant Sharma, Ketin Kumar and others were also present in the protest.
