JAMMU, Dec 27: The School Education Department has announced winter vacations in all Government and Private schools in the summer zone of Jammu division from January 1, 2018 to January 12.
A formal order in this regard was issued today, according to which the teaching/non-teaching faculty along with the Head of the Institutions, associated with the ongoing rehearsal of the march-past and cultural events to be presented on the Republic Day, 2018, shall continue to attend their duties during the winter vacations.
Such officers/officials shall be provided incentives in terms of Rule 27 of J&K Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1979, further says the order.
