SRINAGAR, Apr 22: Jammu and Kashmir Awami Forum today said that welfare of the youth will be part of their election manifesto in the Assembly elections.
President JKAF, Farooq Ahmad made these remarks during a press conference in Srinagar. He said that they want to work for the youth of the state who are lagging behind in education and employment avenues. “Abrogation of article 370 or 35 A is not an issue for me. I will work for the youth of the State. We will try to create jobs for them by bringing the private sector here,” he said.

He added that they have been working actively in the State for the last three years and an overwhelming response from the people has encouraged them to give shape to their party. “We have given an organizational shape to our party and every member will be assigned a specific role. They will run a door to door campaign in the assembly elections,” he said.
He said that they will press for the release of the youth who are languishing in jails without any major offense, “after winning we will ask the New Delhi to release youth of state languishing in jails. We have to work for the youth,” he said.
