Will ensure all weather roads in Gandhi Nagar: Randhawa

JAMMU, July 4: Road network is the key to development of an area and will ensure all weather road connectivity across Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment. It was stated by State secretary Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa while kick-starting blacktopping of a road in Babliana area of Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment along with Geetu Aulakh Member District Development Council (DDC).
Randhawa along with Geetu Aulakh kick-started the blacktopping of a road at Ward No-5, Raina Colony of Babliana Panchayat in Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment which was the long pending demand of the locals.
While speaking on the occasion, Randhawa said that road connectivity is the key to the development of an area and BJP is committed to bring all round development of Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment. He said that certain areas of Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment are victims of political apathy as those who ruled it for two consecutive terms had ignored many hamlets. He said but BJP is committed to develop all these hamlets irrespective of vote bank politics. “We are committed to deliver development at the doorsteps of the people to ensure proper implementation of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas’ slogan” Randhawa added.
He said that Prime Minister of India has a clear vision in terms of development of the nation. There should be no discrimination with any area while carrying out any development works. He further said that the blacktopping of this year ahead of rainy season has been a great sigh of relief to the locals who were facing many hardships particularly during rainy season.
Others who accompanied Randhawa include Bharat Bhushan, Mandeep Monnu, Vijay Sharma, Harmeet Singh, Ajeet Singh, Surinder Singh, Pawan Singh and others.
