Wife, paramour arrested for killing husband

JAMMU, Nov 7: A woman has been arrested along with her paramour for killing her husband in Rakh Barn area of Gharota to hide their illicit relationship.
As per police sources, a migrant labourer identified as Vir Singh, a resident of Chattisgarh, at present Rakh Barn was murdered by her wife Tulsi Devi and her paramour Amrit Lal, son of Banuk Ram of Chattisgarh, at present Rakh Barn, tehsil Bhalwal to hide their illicit relationship.
After committing the offence the lady and her paramour went underground.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the body of the deceased to hospital, where after conducting autopsy, it was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under FIR Number 92/15 under Section 302 RPC was registered against the lady and her paramour and manhunt was launched to nab the accused.
After receiving information from reliable source, police team from Gharota police station conducted raid in Kangra area of Himachal Pradesh and nabbed the lady’s paramour. However, the lady was also arrested from a hideout in Rakh Barn area.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
A team from police station Gharota headed by SI Ravi Sharma arrested the paramour of the lady under the supervision of SHO Gharota Inspector Rakesh Kumar, SDPO Akhnoor Naresh Singh, SP Rural Rajeev Pandey and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
