Togadia for bombardment of terrorist camps

JAMMU, Nov 2: The killing of senior BJP leader, Anil Parihar and his brother Ajit Parihar by terrorists has been widely condemned.
Expressing his serious concern over the killing of the senior BJP leader and his brother in Kishtwar township of Jammu region yesterday, Parveen Bhai Togadia, founder and president of Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad (ANP) said that when a BJP leader is not safe in the State of J&K how can this Government guarantee the safety of other Hindus there.
Talking to Excelsior on phone, Togadia blamed present Government for its failure in providing safety and security to nationalist people in the trouble-torn J&K State. He said the State is under direct Central rule at present and still they could not protect the innocent people.
Demanding a drastic action against the terrorists, he said their camps should be bombarded in the State and the stone pelters as well as over ground supporters of terrorists be dealt under sedition law.

Strongly condemning the killing of Anil Parihar and his brother Ajit Parihar by terrorists at Kishtwar yesterday, president Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rakesh Gupta has demanded a high level probe into the matter and also ordering of the massive operation to track down the militancy.
Gupta, while talking to reporters here, today warned the administration that the killing of civilians will not be tolerated irrespective of their caste, creed and religion. He also advised the administration to gear up security network in the State.
The work also remained suspended in the J&K High Court and subordinate courts on the call of Bar Association Jammu to protest against the Kishtwar killings. The Bar in a handout issued later said that since the eruption of militancy in the State in general and erstwhile Doda district in particular these were the forces who were fighting an ideological war against the terrorism. It said they always kept the National Flag high and never compromised with the anti-national forces. Bar termed their killing a matter of grave concern which needs to be condemned with one voice by one and all.
The Bar held a strong protest in High Court and district court premises in Janipur Jammu.
Bar president B S Salathia urged Prime Minster, Narindera Modi and State Governor, S P Malik to take stern action against such subversive elements to curb the menace of terrorism and to ensure peaceful atmosphere in the State.
VHP State president, Leela Karan Sharma has also strongly condemned the killing of Anil Parihar and his brother, Ajit Parihar in Kishtwar yesterday. At a media conference Leela Karan Sharma termed the killing total failure of administration and the intelligence. He said it appears that militancy has now returned to erstwhile Doda district and alleged that this disorder could not have taken place with out the local support. “The terrorists must be raking for about a week and after committing the crime they must have taken shelter in the town as there are hardly two or three exit points’’, he added.
CPI (M) leader and MLA Kulgam, Mohammed Yousf Tarigami while strongly condemning the killing of BJP leader Anil Parihar and his brother in Kishtwar town yesterday has termed the incident as heinous, barbaric and demanded that the perpetrators should identified and brought to book.
In a statement issued here, today he said the killing has sent shock waves into erstwhile Doda district and every one is pained and grieved irrespective of reflection. He said that CPI (M) shares the grief and sorrow of bereaved family.
PDP senior leader and former Minister, Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari has strongly condemned the killing of BJP leader, Anil Parihar and his brother in Kishtwar district yesterday.
Bukhari has termed the incident as most reprehensible and heinous act at the hands of unknown gunmen. He urged the Governor led administration to nab the culprits and book them under law.
J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has also strongly condemned the killing of senior BJP leader and his brother by terrorists in Kishtwar yesterday.
In a statement JKPCC chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma has expressed deep shock and serious concern over the targeted killing of prominent leader of the BJP and his brother and described it a most cowardly act which he said was aimed at disturbing peace and harmony in the area.
To raise its ire against the killing of Parihar and his brother, Jammu Province Peoples Forum (JPPF) held a demonstration in front of Maharaja Harisingh’s statue at Tawi bridge.
Addressing the demonstrators president of the Forum, Pavitar Singh Bhardwaj blamed administration of security lapses in view of the forehand inputs available that terrorists from Shopian have made their entry into Kishtwar. Besides, Anil Parihar was already on hit list of terrorists and had already escaped a bid on his life during 1990. The members of JPPF conveyed their heartfelt condolences to bereaved family and expressed solidarity with it.
President Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, Narayan Singh has also expressed his shock and grief over the killing of senior BJP leader and his brother by terrorists in Kishtwar. He said the act was aimed to disturb peace and communal harmony.
National Panthers Party (NPP) chief patron, Prof Bhim Singh has expressed deep shock over the brutal killing of two brothers in their hometown Kishtwar yesterday. He while paying tributes to them said the loss of two citizens is highly tragic and unbearable while expressing condolences on his behalf and on behalf of his party.
Bhim Singh demanded an explanation from the State Government and particularly from the police hierarchy of the State on its total failure to provide protection to Parihar.

Paying homage to the departed souls, P L Koul Badgami convener, KHC and Raj Nath Raina president MBS said Parihar has been on hit list of terrorists as he has challenged the anti national forces since 1990. He always stood for communal amity and had opposed the terrorists and their harbourers tooth and nail right from 1990 so he was an eye sore for them. They demanded that security be beefed up in erstwhile Doda as well as Rajouri and Poonch districts as terrorists under pressure from security forces in Shopian and Kulgam districts will make the hilly reaches of Jammu their safe heavens.
BJP district Unit, Kathua led by its president, Prem Nath Dogra held a strong protest demonstration against the Pakistan and killing of BJP senior leader and his brother in Kishtwar yesterday.
Anjuman Ulema Ahi –e-Sunnat Rajouri, president Maulana Mohammed Farooq Naemi has also strongly condemned the killing of two brothers in Rajouri and termed it a vicious and cowardly act of terrorism.
Former MLA and NPP president Balwant Singh Mankotia has also strongly condemned the killing of Parihar and his brother. Kanak Mandi Traders Association, Maj Gen (retd) Goverdhan Singh Jamwal, Mendhar Ekta Committee, Kashmiri Pandit Conference, chief, Kundan Kashmiri, J&K Peoples Forum president, Satish Poonchi, Gujjar Desh Charitable Trust, Jammu, vice chairman, Abdul Hamid Choudhry and its other members, president Jammu Kashmir Bachao Tehreek and former Minister, Abdul Gani Vaki, All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) president, Desh Rattan , State president, Janata Dal Secular, Ranjay Bargotra and leaders of various social organizations and NGOs have strongly condemned the killings.
Shiv Shakti Mandir Sanastha, Pamposh Colony, Janipur held a meeting and paid condolence to the BJP leader Anil Parihar and his brother Ajit Parihar, who were killed in suspected terror attack in Tappal Galo in district Kishtwar. President of the Sanastha JL Bamzai and Vedic Guru Jai Krishen Khar, General Secretary expressed grief over the loss of lives and prayed for eternal peace to the department soul. They also demanded immediate action against the culprits.
Senior National Conference leader and former Minister of State for Home, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo strongly condemned the killing of BJP leader, Anil Parihar and his brother,Ajit Parihar in Kishtwar and described the incident as inhuman and most unfortunate.
