Srinagar, Sept 15: The restrictions in Kashmir continue to be eased while the normal life remained disrupted for 42nd day today.
The markets remained closed, however, in the morning and evening some shops were open and people were seen buying essentials. The flea market at Polo-View was open today amid tight security and some people were seen busy in making some purchases.
The public transport was off the roads, however, some private vehicles were plying. In civilian areas of Srinagar some autorickshaws were plying and at places on Srinagar-Anantnag highway few taxis were also plying.
The mobile telephone services and internet including broadband services continue to remain suspended since August 5.
