JAMMU, Aug 29: Week Long workshop on “software development skills using VB.Net” organized by the BCA Department of Government MAM College commenced today.
On the occasion, Prof Vibhakar Mansotra, Head of the Department of IT and Computer Sciences, University of Jammu, was the chief guest, who inaugurated the workshop.
Principal of the college Dr Ramesh Chander while speaking impressed upon that such kind of student oriented programs should be organized in future also to give valuable inputs to the students besides upgrading their skill.
HoD Computer Applications, Prof Sujat Khan presented the welcome address and said that such informative events enable the students to get familiar with upcoming challenges and scope in the field of software development.
Prof Vibhakar Mansotra in his address emphasized that the students will be benefitted from this workshop and will be able to understand what Software Development is as it is part of their curriculum.
Vikas Gupta, Asstt Programmer University of Jammu, who was the resource person for the workshop, deliberated in detail the use of VB.Net for developing the software applications.
At the end, Mansi Duggal presented vote of thanks.
